The Islamic Online School Platform

Our journey with Sahlah began with a deep dive into understanding the educational philosophy behind the school and how we could express that through design. After several collaborative sessions with the Sahlah team, we defined the project’s core objectives: to create a user-friendly platform that embraced both academic rigor and Islamic traditions while incorporating playful illustrations that would breathe life into the learning process. As we progressed, we introduced the idea of custom illustrations. Our talented illustrators began sketching characters and visuals that were rooted in Islamic traditions but designed with a modern, approachable twist. Each illustration was thoughtfully crafted to represent the journey of a student, from engaging with the curriculum to exploring Quranic studies, making the site not just functional, but also enjoyable for the students.

The launch of the Sahlah website marked a significant milestone in their journey, providing students and parents with an educational tool that was easy to navigate, full of rich content, and deeply aligned with Islamic values. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, especially in regards to the visual appeal of the illustrations and how they helped bring the educational experience to life. Sahlah’s new platform is now a trusted resource for students, offering not just academic content but a foundation for faith-based learning, making it a space where students can thrive both intellectually and spiritually.
